6. Selection Procedure

The Netcapital NBFI Student Scholarship will be organized in three stages:

  1. Preliminary screening: Review of submitted documents to identify eligible applicants.

  2. Second stage: Group presentation sessions.

  3. Final stage: Discussion and problem-solving task based on a given topic, following the sponsor’s evaluation methodology.

The initial public offering for Mongolia's first 20% interest asset-backed securities (ABS), offered to the public for the first time on the Mongolian stock market, officially closed on July 1, 2025, after being fully subscribed in just four days.

"Netcapital ABS" SPC LLC successfully raised a total of ₮30.0 billion by offering the public ABS that are 100% backed by loans with a fiduciary right on vehicles. The securities have a maturity of 24 months, an annual interest rate of 20%, and quarterly interest payments.

The high level of trust and active participation from both individual and institutional investors in this high-yield, low-risk financial instrument was the key factor behind the 100% fulfillment of the initial ABS offering. This success sets a new standard and opens up new opportunities in the domestic capital market.

As of 2024, "Netcapital Finance Corporation" NBFI LLC, the main company of the Netcapital Financial Group, had expanded to ₮271 billion in total assets, 44 branches covering Ulaanbaatar and all 21 provinces of Mongolia, over 600 skilled employees, and more than 112,000 satisfied clients.

We have successfully implemented the IDCXS2022 "International Digital Customer Experience Standard" and have been certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI). This implementation allows us to develop our products and services to an international level of "Excellence," creating a system where customers can access easy and secure financial services through digital channels.

The IDCXS2022 standard consists of 7 sections and 356 criteria. We made improvements to our operations in accordance with these criteria, and from October 21-23, 2024, we underwent a certification audit by the BSI. We met the standard's requirements with a high performance rate of 95.5% and received our certificate.

Aiming to lead the fintech revolution in the digital era, Netcapital Financial Group has successfully implemented the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System standard.

This is the company’s second internationally recognized certification, following the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard it received last year.
